To start out the drying process, I do a couple things to the rear wheel wells. First, cover them in white glue to strengthen the paper, then cover in more putty to be smoothed out later.
I finish off the rest of the chains on the wheels. They really do look great like that. As a finishing touch, I take some fire to them which adds some nice aging with wear and tear.
Turns out that the chrome finish also bubbles and turns gritty when heated. So, I got back over all my chrome spots and add a rusted look.
After a gratuitous amount of solder welding, my Postapocalyptibuggy has a plow!
