I'm in the process of working on two Impalers, and I'll just show their progress together.
The first one finally got glued and green stuffed together. The filling was needed because I've turned the body quite a bit.
The other thing I had to do was create a new strap for his keg. Because of the torso rotation, the rope no longer lined up.
This was just a matter of rolling out some more green stuff thin enough then twisting it.
Cut to size, and glue it into place in a way that looks natural for the keg.

I'm repositioning the arm of the other Impaler, because he's going to be literally impaling someone. I used a small saw to get a clean cut at the elbow.
I've also gotten all the joints pinned and ready for connecting. I always overpin and cut down to size... just a habit.
Take a look at my Step by Step page for the entire Hordebloods project. Here you will find each model broken down into links showing each step: Concept, Works in Progress, (for both modelling and painting) and Final Shots |
